I think it will be fine. I think mine might even touch in a couple of places. The main thing is that when the pool is empty it wont cave in. The one thing I would have done differently is mount the pump higher. During the rainy season water can be a problem depending on where you live. IM so glad I was able to help. This has been one of my greatest accomplishments. When all is done and your sitting there with drink in hand you will feel a huge since of accomplishment. Please take lots of pics!

I’m currently in the middle of doing the same thing as you. I actually followed your video pretty closely for my project. Except I dug my own hole, and came up a little smaller than planned once the wall was built. How much room did you have between your pool wall and retaining wall. I am worried right now I won’t have enough room for the uprights. I am getting a 24′ pool and the wall diameter varies from 24′ 8″ to 25′ 6″. Do you think I should get a smaller pool?
